Lessons and Opportunities
Weekly Private Lessons
Lessons are taught in Mrs. Yin's home studio, and scheduled on a weekly basis, with a designated day and time. The length of lessons can be 30, 45, or 60 minutes, depending of the student's age, level or aspirations.
Tuition is paid monthly so there is no long-term commitment. Please contact me for more information.

Recitals and Performing Opportunities
Studio recitals are held twice a year, at venues such as Pianoforte Chicago (https://pianofortechicago.com/events/).

Students will also have opportunities to participate in competitions, festivals, and other performance events throughout the year.

Participation in these events is strongly encouraged but not mandatory.
AIM (Achievement In Music)
"The Achievement in Music Program, also known as AIM, is an exciting and motivating program for students, designed to develop strong performance and technical skills as well as a thorough understanding of musical theory." For more information, check out their website (https://ismta.org/aim/) or ask me for more information.

Group Music Class for 4-6 years old
A fun music class specifically designed for children aged 4-6, where they learn the basics of music through games and interactive activities.
A perfect choice for children with no prior experience, also for families that are still not sure about committing to piano lessons. (I know, buying a piano is a big decision!)
After completing this music class for 10 weeks, kids may progress to learning the piano. For more details, please inquire.

Teaching Philosophy
As a piano teacher, my philosophy centers on fostering excellence, building confidence, and nurturing a profound love for music. I believe that each student possesses unique potential and that, through tailored instruction and encouragement, they can achieve remarkable proficiency. My goal is to create an environment where students feel confident in their abilities and inspired to express themselves through their music. By instilling a deep appreciation for the art form and emphasizing the joy of musical expression, I aim to develop not only skilled pianists but also lifelong enthusiasts who carry their passion for music into all aspects of their lives.
